Clynelish 1991 (B.2006) Distillers Edition / 46% / 0.7l

The Distillers Edition debuted at the end of the last century as an extension or "second dimension" of the Classic Malts series .

The original series featured 6 single malts , which was doubled in the middle of the first decade of the new century. The first Clynelish Distillers Edition hit the market in 2006. After 14 years in bourbon casks, the whisky was finished in Oloroso Seco sherry butt casks .

Aroma : rich, slightly nutty, definite presence of sherry, apricots, oranges, raisins, honey, delicate herbal note.

Taste : rich, slightly oily, sea salt, some peat, dried fruit, sweet bread, nut nougat and a pinch of spices.

Finish:  long, chocolate with nuts, sea salt and mild sherry notes in the background.
