Glenluig is another mysterious whisky released by Invergordon Distillers as a part of their Malts of Scotland range.
Just like in case of other bottlings in the range, such as Ferintosh or Druichan, Invergordon does not reveal the distillery name, only the region. Glenluig whisky comes from Highlands, most likely from Dalmore Distillery. (Glenluig Distillery was founded in 1812 but its history in unknown). Dalmore, on the other hand, is owned by Whyte & Mackay (just like Invergordon Distillers), since 2014 part of Imperador Inc. Glenluig brand debuted in Spain and was soon introduced in other European countries. Other brands included in the Malts of Scotland range comprised whiskies from the distilleries associated one way or another with Invergordon. We are almost certain that Ferintosh whisky was sourced from Tamnavulin, Druichan from Bruichladdich and Craignure from Jura
