Product description
Johnnie Walker has been a hallmark of Scotland for decades. It has been around as a whisky brand since 1908 and originally came in three versions – Old High White Label, Special Red Label and Extra Special Black Label.
Only the first one did not stand the test of time, the rest are available today in every latitude. Johnnie Walker Gold Label debuted in 1920 on the occasion of the company's 100th anniversary, but it was not until the 90s that it appeared in the basic offer in the 18-year-old version. Its formula was based on Clynelish and Cardhu malts. In early 2013, Diageo replaced the 18-year-old with the Gold Label Reserve version bottled without an age statement, and only a few months later the Platinum Label 18 years old version appeared on the market.
