Chivas Regal 18 Year Old The Gold Signature + miniature / 40% / 0.7l

The 18-year-old is the creation of Chivas blender Colin Scott in 1997, when the brand was owned by Canadian company Seagram (Chivas Bros. has been a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard since 2001). Strathisla has been the core of the Chivas formula since the early 1950s, with other key malts including Longmorn, Tormore, Braeval and Glen Keith. In 2014, Chivas Regal 18-year-old won the title of best blended Scotch whisky at the annual International Wine & Spirits Competition. Chivas Regal 18-year-old the Gold Signature is an exclusive blended Scotch whisky, a combination of selected single malts and grain whiskies, each aged for at least 18 years. The blend includes single malts from the Strathisla distillery, which is the heart of the Chivas brand and one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. They are aged in sherry and bourbon casks, giving the whisky notes of fruit, honey and vanilla. The "Signature" in the name refers to the signature of Colin Scott, legendary Chivas master blender, who has shaped this blend for decades. His aim was to combine sweet delicacy with the depth of mature ingredients.

The Chivas Regal Mizunara, a limited edition blended Scotch whisky, combines Scottish tradition with Japanese craftsmanship. Released in 2020, it was matured in rare Japanese Mizunara oak barrels, giving it distinctive aromas of sandalwood, coconut and delicate spices. It combines this with the classic Chivas profile: notes of honey, vanilla and fruit from Speyside and Highland malts.
