Product description
Built in 1824, Cameronbridge Distillery was the first Scottish distillery to install Robert Stein's revolutionary invention – the continuous column still.
For over 100 years, it produced malt and grain distillate in parallel, and in 1929, it focused exclusively on grain. Today, Cameronbridge belongs to Diageo and, after the last expansion completed in 2012, produces around 120 million liters of distillate per year. It goes to all the group's major blends, including Johnnie Walker, Bell's, Black & White and VAT 69. The whisky presented here, distilled in September 1992, spent almost three decades in bourbon cask no. 115061. Bottled in 2021 at cask strength (48.5% abv) by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. in the popular The Cooper's Choice series in an edition of 288 bottles.
