The Glenlivet White Oak Reserve Triple Cask Matured / unpackaged / 40% / 1.0l

In April 2019, The Glenlivet Distillery announced the release of The Glenlivet Triple Cask Series for exclusive distribution to the Travel Retail network.

It is to emphasize the influence of maturation in three types of casks on the final product and replace the previous offer for duty-free shops. Thus, Master Distiller's Reserve changes its name to Distiller's Reserve, Solera Vatted is now White Oak Reserve, and Small Batch is renamed Rare Cask. Three types of casks are involved in the creation of Glenlivet Triple Cask White Oak Reserve - American and European oak casks and sherry casks. The whisky is bottled at 40% alcohol and is released in litre bottles.

Aroma : vanilla cream, toffee, honey, caramel, coconut flakes, ripe apples and pears, sultanas, milk chocolate and a handful of walnuts.

Taste : very mild, vanilla, maple syrup, toffee, sweet bread, pears in syrup, baked apples, oranges and subtle oak bitterness.

Finish : medium long, with notes of vanilla cream, honey, milk chocolate and ripe summer fruits.
