Product description
Ron Zacapa Centenario Solera Gran Reserva No. 23 is a luxury premium rum from Guatemala, considered one of the most outstanding representatives of the Aged rum category. Its production combines tradition, innovation and exceptional geographical conditions.
Ron Zacapa Centenario Solera Gran Reserva No. 23 is created in the Guatemalan distillery Destilerias Zacapa, part of the Diageo group. The rum was created in 1976 by Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala (before the acquisition by Diageo) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the city of Zacapa, hence the name "Centenario", which means centenary. The rum is produced in a unique region - in the mountainous area of Guatemala at an altitude of 2,300 m above sea level, where the cool, high-mountain climate slows down the maturation process, giving the drink a unique depth and delicacy, 23 refers to the altitude at which the rum matures.
The name “Solera” refers to the traditional solera aging method, which involves blending rums of different ages in barrels, ensuring a harmonious and complex flavor profile. Today, Ron Zacapa Centenario Solera Gran Reserva No. 23 is an icon of luxury rums, combining the heritage of Guatemalan craftsmanship with modern precision.
