AnCnoc 18 years old is one of the latest offerings from Knockdhu Distillery. The whisky debuted at the end of 2014 in an amount of 6000 bottles.

This edition uses distillates aged in both sherry and bourbon casks. It is offered at 46% ABV, and the producer has also abandoned cold filtration. The Knockdhu distillery is equipped with one pair of stills, and its annual production capacity reaches 1.8 million liters of alcohol.

Aroma : rich, attractive combination of dried fruit, milk chocolate, coconut flakes, orange peel and old leather; strong oak note.

Palate: A wonderful balance of flavours extracted from bourbon and sherry barrels; vanilla, honey, lemon peel, crème brûlée, cinnamon, cloves complemented by oak bitterness.

Finish: long and warming with notes of sherry, oak and spices.
