Product description
Just a dozen or so years ago, Edradour, with a production potential of 130,000 litres per year, aspired to the title of the smallest Scottish distillery.
The 21st century brought a dozen or so micro-distilleries with capacities several times lower, and the expansion completed in 2018 doubled Edradour's production capacity to 260,000 liras per year. Since 2002, the distillery has belonged to Signatory Vintage, a creative whisky publisher specializing in unconventional, limited editions. The presented Edradour, distilled 2011, spent over 12 years in first and second fill Oloroso sherry butt casks (no. 201, 214, 215, 219-222, 230). The whisky was bottled at 57.6% abv and without chill filtration on June 30, 2023 in an edition of 5,100 bottles.
