Grace O'Malley Spirits was founded in 2017 by Irish businessman Stephen Cope and his two German partners, Stefan Hansen and Fritz Hendrick Melle. The position of the blending master is held by Frenchman Paul Caris, previously associated with wine and cognac producers. Grace O'Malley is blended from double and triple distilled malt whiskeys and grain whiskeys from John Teeling's Great Northern Distillery. The distillates are aged in bourbon, rum and French oak barrels. In 2021, the blend presented here won a double gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco.
