Product description
The first drops of distillate flowed from the Arran Distillery stills on 17th August 1995 and three years later Arran single malt made its market debut, very well received by whisky lovers.
In retrospect, it seems that the distillery heralded the boom of the new millennium. Today, Arran Distillery Company owns two distilleries on the island – Lagg Distillery filled its first cask in spring 2019 and produces a smoky-peaty spirit, while the original distillery has been renamed Lochranza Distillery. Distilled on 9 June 1997, this whisky spent 23 years in a 1997/907 hogshead sherry cask, and was bottled at 48.5% abv, natural colour and unchill-filtered on 15 September 2020 for Kammer Kirsch. The run was 205 bottles.
