Product description
The densely populated, if not overpopulated, world of whisky often seeks alternatives.
Many Scotch whisky enthusiasts, and not only Scotch whisky enthusiasts, at some point reach for other whiskies, most often rum. It is from among whisky enthusiasts that many rum connoisseurs come, and some of them turn this new hobby into a business. This was the case for a group of Danes who were treated to excellent quality rum during a whisky festival in Scotland. The career of the Danish company 1423 World Class Spirits began in this way. First, there was a barrel of rum from Trinidad, number 1423, commemorated in the company's name. It quickly became one of the most recognized specialists in the field of selecting and bottling the highest quality rums. The SBS series are rums from single barrels, extremely short series, bottled in their most natural form. The SBS Origin series are unaged rums, selected for their powerful profile and taste. These are rums already known from the original SBS series, but in this case the bottler gives us the opportunity to taste their flavors at the source, bypassing the influence of the barrel. They are suitable for consumption without additives, with ice, or as ingredients in cocktails.
SBS Origin French Antilles Grand Arome Rum is a molasses-based white rum, column distilled, with an ester content of 500 gr/hL.
