Product description
Wilton House is a 10-year-old single malt whisky from an undisclosed distillery based in the Highlands.
From the label we learn that its producer is First Blending Company based in Bathgate. We know that Bathgate is the headquarters of La Martiniquaise's Starlaw Grain Distillery and the warehouse complex and blending center for its blends. The entire area occupies about several dozen hectares, and the warehouses alone can hold 600 thousand barrels of whisky. In 2008, the French company purchased Glen Moray Distillery, made a significant expansion, and as a result increased its production capacity to 5.7 million liters of distillate per year. We can probably assume that Wilton House is an alternative version of Glen Moray single malt.
