Signatory has a tradition, highly valued by whisky lovers, of labeling each cask strength edition with information about the type and number of the cask, the date it was filled, bottled and the number of bottles to which the release is limited. The Glen Grant presented here is the company's proposal in the Cask Strength Collection series, a whisky distilled on May 31, 1995, aged for 26 years in three bourbon casks (82236, 82237 and 82238) and bottled at 50.8% abv and without chill filtration on April 12, 2022 in an edition of 562 bottles.
Aroma : fruity-sweet, ripe apples and pears, grapes, honeydew melon, vanilla, coconut, honey-roasted nuts, golden syrup, notes of cinnamon and toasted oak.
Palate: fruit salad, apricots, pineapples, melons, grapes, pears, vanilla pudding, milkshake, marzipan, cinnamon buns, candied ginger and oak.
Finish: quite long, with notes of vanilla, honey, caramel, fruit candy, cinnamon and toasted oak.
