Johnnie Walker 15-year-old Sherry Finish Blended Malt / 40% / 0.7l
- Johnnie Walker has been the best-selling Scotch whisky brand outselling the second in line, Ballantine’s 2 to 1.
Product description
Johnnie Walker has led the Scotch whisky sales statistics for years, outselling its biggest rival, Ballantine's, by a ratio of at least 2:1.
This whisky is as much an icon of Scotland as Coca-Cola is of America. Johnnie Walker generally represents the blended whisky category, although there are a few notable exceptions – Green Label, Odyssey and recently the 15-year-old Sherry Finish, blended without grain distillates. The last of these, a creation of Jim Beveridge, Johnnie Walker’s master blender, debuted in late 2019 in Malaysia, China and Taiwan. Its key ingredients are Cardhu, Glen Elgin and Clynelish, and the finished blended malt was finished in sherry casks for an undisclosed period.
