SangSom Distillery is one of the oldest rum distilleries in Thailand.

It was founded in 1977. The rum is made from locally grown sugar cane, is made on the basis of molasses and is matured in oak barrels, charred from the inside. To prevent excessive evaporation due to the high, tropical temperatures, the oak barrels with rum are matured in specially prepared warehouses, in which the floor is 4 meters below ground level, located right next to the sea lagoons.

Sang Som Special is a rum made from molasses, distilled in column stills and matured for an undisclosed period in American bourbon oak barrels in warehouses in Thailand.

Aroma : Vanilla, lemon, leather, medicinal notes, spices.

Taste : Sweet, liqueur, vanilla, spices.

Finish : Medium long, spicy, medical.
