- Flavored whiskey and whiskey liqueur have been the most dynamic categories in the US in 21st Century.
Product description
Whiskey-based liqueurs, or so-called Flavored Whiskeys, are the most dynamically developing categories of alcoholic beverages in the 21st century United States.
Jack Daniel's joined the group of producers only in 2011 with the Tennessee Honey edition, which achieved incredible success, soon reaching sales of a million cases per year. Three years later, it was the turn of Tennessee Fire, a blend of the classic Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 and cinnamon liqueur. The undisputed king of cinnamon is Fireball by Sazerac Company of New Orleans, and Tennessee Fire has undoubtedly somewhat undermined its hegemony. We do not want to compare both drinks, but in our opinion the one discussed here better reflects the character of the whiskey itself. Its aroma is sweet, full of cinnamon and breakfast cereal with cinnamon, and there are also notes of vanilla and cotton candy. The flavor palette combines sweet and spicy elements, with cinnamon playing first fiddle, of course, accompanied by caramel, brown sugar and buttered toast, which finish harmoniously until quiet.
