Rum Black Tot takes its name from the day when the custom of allocating sailors a daily ration of rum was abandoned. It was July 31, 1970, and sailors named that day Black Tot Day.
This rum is a blend of distillates from Barbados (35%, 5 years old), Guyana (40% 3-5 years old, 20% unaged) and Jamaica (5% 3 years old), made with molasses. All bottled in Scotland, without chill filtering and without added sugar.
Nose: Notes of pineapple, melon, banana, plane tree, mango, crème brulee, eucalyptus and honeysuckle flower.
Palate: Notes of butter, toffee, banana cream, caramel, cinnamon and allspice, baked apples, pineapple, mango, coffee, dark chocolate and black pepper.
Finish : Long, with notes of banana and anise.
