Product description
Rebel Yell is a mid-1930s wheat bourbon produced for the Southern States by Stitzel-Weller Distillery using the W.L. Weller bourbon formula.
The rights to the brand were acquired in 1999 by David Sherman Company (now Luxco, Inc.), which began distilling in its own Lux Row Distillery in 2018. In April 2021, Luxco's assets were acquired by MGP Ingredients, and the brand soon changed its name to "Rebel." In 2019, the "Special Finish Series" debuted with the French Oak Finish, and a year later we received the Cognac Cask Finish. The third edition from 2021 presented here, finished for six months in Tawny Port barrels, consisted of 6,000 bottles and is available only outside the United States.
