The Trois Rivieres estate in Martinique once belonged to the Sun King's minister of finance, Louis XIV.
Today it includes, among other things, a large sugar cane plantation and a rum factory. In accordance with the Martinique tradition, rum agricole is produced here, a spirit distilled from fresh sugar cane juice. It is produced in a rectifying column and, in most cases, matured in carefully selected oak barrels, primarily American bourbon barrels.
Trois Rivieres Rhum Agricole Élevé Sous Bois is a rum aged in oak barrels for 12 to 18 months. Rum produced strictly according to the guidelines of the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée.
Aroma : Cane sugar, dried flowers, spices.
Palate: Caramel, toasted bread, milk, fruit.
Finish: Medium long, fruity.
