Product description
The Allt-a-Bhainne (Gaelic for "milk stream") distillery was built in 1975 by Canadian company Seagram to supply malt distillate for blends, mainly 100 Pipers, Passport and Chivas Regal.
Since 2001, it has been owned by Pernod Ricard, and almost the entire production (around 4 million liters of distillate per year) goes into the company's blends. The whisky presented here, distilled in May 1992, spent 27 years in a refilled hogshead cask no. HL 16942, and was bottled by Hunter Laing & Co. in the popular Old Malt Cask series in October 2019. The edition consisted of 256 bottles. Whiskies from the Hunter Laing & Co. offer are bottled with a natural color and without cold filtration.
