Product description
The Glenfarclas distillery has been owned and operated by the Grant family for six generations.
Grants have always been very strict about maturing their spirits, renowned for their love of sherry casks and their dislike of first-fill bourbon casks, and for experimenting with what they call “oddball casks”. This Glenfarclas, distilled in 1975, has been aged exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks, and bottled at 43% abv after two decades of maturation in an edition limited to 1,200 bottles. Glenfarclas sales have been growing steadily over the past decade, surpassing 2.3 million bottles in 2019.
