Product description
The Transcontinental Rum Line (TCRL for short) is a line of rums bottled for a French distributor specializing mainly in whisky, but also offering other spirits, including rum.
La Maison du Whisky, because that's what we're talking about, offers short, limited editions of rums from Caribbean rum factories. These are often single-barrel editions. Their common feature is that they are matured twice - first in the tropical conditions of the place of production, after which the rum is brought to Europe for the final stage of maturation.
Transcontinental Rum Line Panama 2013 is a rum from molasses, distilled in a rectifying column. It matured in oak barrels after American bourbon near the Panama Canal for 5 years, then came to Europe for a year. Bottled in 2019. In its bouquet we will find accents of vanilla, spices, cookies, coconuts, exotic fruits.
