Product description
Warner's Distillery (originally named Warner Edwards Distillery) was founded in 2012 by Tom Warner and Sion Edwards.
It is based at Falls Farm in Northamptonshire, where the botanicals used in its gin are grown, and there is also a small apiary and a spring. In 2016, the partners parted ways and after a few years, the company changed its name to Warner's Distillery. Sloe Gin debuted in late autumn 2013 (its original name was Warner Edwards Harrington Sloe Gin). Sloes are picked in October and then macerated for a month in Warner's Harrington Dry gin (its formula includes the following botanicals: juniper berries, coriander and cardamom seeds, elderberry, nutmeg, black pepper, cinnamon, angelica root, lemon and orange peel, and one undisclosed ingredient) before being re-distilled. Warner's Sloe Gin has won several prestigious awards, including two gold medals (2015 and 2017) at the World Spirit Competition in San Francisco.
"The combination of sloes, cherries and blood oranges creates a unique sweet and sour aromatic bouquet. Intense notes of blackberry jam, nutmeg and cinnamon, a bit of tart sloes and sweet oranges." Warner's Sloe Gin is best served with citrus tonic and a slice of lime.
