The Dubliner Master Distiller's Reserve / 42% / 0.7l

The Dubliner is one of the fastest growing Irish whiskey brands. It is produced by The Dublin Liberties Distillery, part of Quintessential Brands Group, and was created by local master distiller Darryl McNally.

The Master Distiller's Reserve version presented here debuted in January 2018. It is a premium blended whiskey composed of seven components ( malt & grain ) aged in bourbon barrels for up to ten years. The maturation of whiskey in bourbon barrels is a hallmark of the company's products - The Dubliner Irish Whiskey, The Dubliner Whiskey & Honeycomb and the winner of the Whiskies of the World competition , The Dubliner 10 years old Single Malt Whiskey.  

Aroma : mildly malty, vanilla, honey, breakfast cereals, apples, peaches, grapes, a bit of dry herbs and pepper and light notes of oak.  

Taste: malty, vanilla, brown sugar, honey, apples, gooseberries, lemon peel, white pepper, a bit of hay and oak bitterness.  

Finish: medium long, with notes of vanilla, toffee, baked apples, candied lemon peel, a pinch of white pepper and oak.
