The history of Ocumare rum begins on May 1, 1938 in the Quinta Crespo district of Caracas, Venezuelan.

In 1950, due to the growing popularity of the rum produced there and the lack of possibilities for expansion in the then location, the distillery was forced to change its address and was moved to the Hacienda La Guadelupe estate in Ocumare del Tuy. Large warehouses were built there and modern stripping equipment was installed.

Rom Ocumare Reservada is a blend of distillates matured for up to 12 years in American bourbon oak barrels.

Aroma: Exotic fruits, milk chocolate, dried fruits, caramel and spices.

Taste: Notes of honey, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, oak, citrus, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper.

Finish : Long, with notes of oak and spice.
