Product description
In the second decade of the new century, sales of Glenlivet whisky increased by almost 60% to exceed 13 million bottles in 2018.
The pearl in the distillery's current offering is the Single Cask Collection, offering whisky from the finest casks personally selected by master distiller Alan Winchester. The Blairlick Hill presented here has a special meaning for us. The whisky spent 16 years in bourbon cask no. 14517 and was bottled in cask strength (52.2% abv) in January 2017 exclusively for the House of Whisky. The contents of the cask translated into 216 bottles. The name of the whisky refers to the history of Glenlivet, and specifically the smuggling routes along which barrels of whisky were transported to the cities of southern Scotland. Blairlick Hill was one of the highest points on the route from the Glenlivet valley to Dundee.
