Product description
Bell's whisky debuted in the 1850s and by today's standards was a blended malt whose key components came from Pitlochry and the Glenlivet district.
Its creator, Arthur Bell, did not use his own name in the name of the whisky, his son did in 1904, presenting Arthur Bell & Sons Pure Malt Whisky. The family company was taken over by Guinness in 1985, and is currently part of the Diageo group. The core of the Bell's blend formula is Blair Athol, Inchgower and Dufftown, supported by Linkwood and Caol Ila. In our opinion, the bottle presented here comes from the turn of the 70s and 80s and belonged to the batch intended for distribution in the Duty Free network. Current sales of the Bell's brand are almost 2.2 million cases per year, which places it in 11th place among the most popular Scottish blends.
