Product description
Glenleven is a brand of blended malt whisky available from at least the 1960s until the late 1980s.
Its producer was John Haig & Co., then part of the DCL group. The name of the whisky is somewhat similar to "Glenlivet", which was probably an intentional marketing move. Unfortunately, we do not know its full formula, it is said to have consisted of six single malts, among which the main role was played by Glenkinchie and Glenlossie. We can also assume that since the basic malts in Haig's blends are also Mannochmore and Linkwood, they also found a place in the Glenleven recipe. The 5-year-old version was the youngest in the offer and was intended for the Italian market.
