Mezan rums always come from a single distillery, making them a unique example of the style of rum distilled in a given location. They never contain any additives, are not additionally sweetened, are not colored, are not cold filtered. They always come from American bourbon barrels.

Mezan Guyana 2003 Rum comes from the Diamond distillery in Guyana. It was distilled there in a stripper, consisting of a traditional wooden still and a rectification column. Fermentation using a special strain of yeast, used only by this distillery. According to the bottler's description, in its bouquet we will find warm, earthy accents of oak, a bit of tobacco smoke, dried citrus and notes of cedar.
