Product description
Built in 1824, Cameronbridge Distillery was the first Scottish distillery to install Robert Stein's revolutionary invention – the continuous column still.
For over 100 years it produced malt and grain distillate in parallel, in 1929 it focused exclusively on grain. Today Cameronbridge belongs to Diageo and after the last expansion completed in 2012 it produces around 120 million litres of distillate per year. It goes to all the major blends of the group, including Johnnie Walker, Bell's, Black & White and VAT 69. The Cameronbridge 1991 Vintage presented here is a proposal of Douglas McGibbon & Co. in the Clan Denny series. The whisky spent 25 years in a refill hogshead cask no. DMG 11773. Douglas McGibbon & Co. is a subsidiary of Douglas Laing & Co., a renowned bottler and distributor of whisky.
