Springwood is one of five Auchentoshan offerings targeted at Travel Retail customers in 2012.

All five pay homage to wood, with each whisky offering referencing a different stage of the tree’s growth and its potential impact on the whisky’s palette. Springwood is Heartwood’s younger brother and refers to the tree in its early stages of growth. The whisky has no age statement and was matured in bourbon barrels.

Aroma: mild with a hint of hay, white chocolate, citrus, vanilla and honey.

Taste: bold, vanilla, honey, lemon peel, green apples and a blade of dry grass.

Finish: medium long, fresh with a hint of vanilla and lemonade.
