Product description
The history of Dictador rum begins in 1751, when Severo Arango Ferro arrived in Cartagena de Indias to control and strengthen trade between Spain and its overseas colony.
Thanks to his knowledge and strength, he quickly earned the nickname Dictador. Enchanted by the taste and elegance of the rum he produced, he became the largest producer and seller of this drink. 160 years later, in 1913, Dictador's descendant founded the Destileria Columbiana company, becoming the best rum producer in the Caribbean region after many years. The third generation of the Arango family created the Dictador Europe project, starting the international expansion of this brand. In 2016, Dictador introduced a series under the common name 100 month aged, which - as the name suggests - matured in oak barrels for 100 months. In the bouquet of Dictador Claro rum, we will find notes of smoked caramel, a bit of oak, accents of coconut, citrus, chocolate, roots and sugar cane.
