Druichan Islay 10-year-old /No packaging/ 40% / 0.7l

Druichan is another entry in Invergordon Distillers’ mysterious Malts of Scotland series . As with previous editions such as Ferintosh and Glenluig, the company does not reveal the source of the distillate, only the region.

Druichan single malt comes from Islay, most likely from the Bruichladdich distillery. Bruichladdich Distillery was owned by Invergordon Distillers from 1968-2000 and it is highly likely that the company still has stocks of it in its warehouses. Previous editions in the Malts of Scotland series were based on whiskies from distilleries associated with Invergordon – we know that Ferintosh is Tamnavulin, Glenluig is Dalmore and Craignure is an alternative version of Jura.
