Product description
Glenkinchie began distilling in 1825 as the Milton Distillery and has used its current name since 1837.
The distillery is located about 15 miles from Edinburgh and is visited by over 40,000 whisky lovers each year. Glenkinchie is equipped with one pair of huge stills (the one responsible for the first distillation has a capacity of almost 31,000 litres, making it the largest in Scotland) and produces 2.5 million litres of alcohol per year. The majority of the production goes into blends from the Diageo portfolio, but Glenkinchie is not a key component of any of them. The 10-year-old single malt debuted in 1987 as part of the original Classic Malts edition .
