Product description
Glenfiddich is Scotland's largest malt distillery, capable of producing 14 million litres of alcohol per year.
Its commercial offer includes a dozen or so whiskies, including a unique 50-year-old, emphasizing the company's presence in every price segment of the whisky category. Every year, Glenfiddich offers a Vintage Reserve edition, usually limited to a few hundred bottles. The local malt master invites a tasting panel consisting of a small group of experts, collectors and Glenfiddich enthusiasts to choose the best whisky cask from several previously selected by him. The one that receives the most votes will be bottled as Glenfiddich Vintage Reserve. In 1999, the winner was cask no. 3959, filled on March 6, 1967. After more than 30 years of maturation, on September 14, 1999, its contents translated into 234 bottles of whisky with an alcohol content of 43.6%.
