Kavalan Distillery Select No. 2 / 40%/ 0.7l

Kavalan Distillery Select debuted in the fall of 2018 and was the herald of a new series intended to showcase the full range of aromas and flavours of this whisky.

In Distillery Select No. 1, blender Ian Chang emphasized the sweet side of Kavalan – tropical fruits, vanilla, milkshake and toffee. Two years later, Distillery Select No. 2 was launched, which

the creator described it as "extremely aromatic, with captivating floral and herbal notes complemented by oak and spices". Distillery Select is currently part of Kavalan's basic offer and an excellent introduction to the products of this interesting distillery.

Aroma : fruity and herbal, bananas, pineapples, vanilla, cinnamon, lemongrass, allspice, mint leaf and delicate notes of nuts and oak.

Palate: sweet and spicy, vanilla, nougat, cinnamon, white pepper, fennel, cloves, orange peel and oak.

Finish : medium long, with notes of cinnamon, white pepper, a mixture of dried herbs, a touch of vanilla and oak.
