The Glen Keith 30 Year Old presented here was distilled in July 1991, aged for three decades in a refilled butt cask no. DL 15290 and bottled in September 2021 at cask strength (50.8% abv) in an edition of 427 bottles. Founded in 1957 by Canadian Seagram, the Glen Keith Distillery is now owned by Pernod Ricard and has a six-still capacity of 6 million litres of distillate per year. (Producer’s tasting note.)
Aroma : in the aromatic bouquet we discover strong notes of dried apricots and maple syrup against a background of milk chocolate and honeyed barley.
Taste: on the palate a full range of homemade pastries complemented by vanilla cream and mocha.
Finish: lingers in the mouth for a long time… the spiciness of oak seasoned with the sweetness of pineapple and peaches in syrup.
