Capitan General is a Mexican brand of rum, produced in the Velacruz region, using sugar cane molasses.

The rum is matured for 10 years in American oak barrels that previously held bourbon.

Aroma: Toffee, caramel, toasted oak, herbal notes, spices.

Taste: Delicate caramel, figs, spices, a bit of pepper, oak, mineral notes.

Finish : Sweet and spicy.
