Product description
In 2018, Dom Pérignon appointed Lenny Kravitz as its first Global Creative Director. Kravitz is a unique personality in the artistic world, whose imagination and creativity transcend the boundaries of art, from music to cinematography and photography to artistic design. Dom Pérignon 2008 Vintage has been recognized worldwide as an exceptional champagne (the summer of 2008 in Champagne was characterized by cloudy and misty days, but when the harvest began, the sky, as if by magic, flooded with azure blue, lifting the grapes to the height of perfection). Lenny Kravitz has refined the iconic Dom Pérignon label with the skill of goldsmith, decorating its surface with a "hammered" metal texture, where the patina of the metal gives it a contemporary touch. Kravitz also designed the unique velvet-lined packaging for the Magnum edition, which can be used as a chandelier. Its snakeskin-inspired structure and the vine branches engraved on the label emphasize the naturalistic elements of the champagne. The set also includes four original candles.
James Suckling, the world's leading authority on wine and cigars, awarded this champagne 98 points. "Best House since the 2002 Vintage. This vintage represents a very restrained yet expressive style of champagne. It shows incredibly fresh and intense aromas of lemon, grapefruit and blood orange. On the palate, soothing notes of berries served on shortcrust pastry, delicate sweet spices, stone fruit and a subtle citrus aftertaste. A champagne that can satisfy the most demanding connoisseur. Ready to serve now and for the next several years."
