Product description
Bourbon Rebel Yell debuted in 1936 in the southern states of the United States through Stitzel-Weller Distillery and was not released nationally until 1984.
In 1999, the rights to the brand were acquired by the David Sherman Company (now Luxco, Inc.) based in St. Louis, Missouri. To date, Rebel Yell editions have been based on Bourbons from undisclosed Kentucky producers (Luxco Inc. began distilling in its own distillery in 2018). The Rebel Yell presented here has spent the last six months in Cognac barrels. It is a limited edition of 6,000 bottles intended for export. Rebel Yell bourbon is distilled from a mash of 68% corn, 20% wheat, and 10% malted barley.
