Product description
The Glen Keith distillery was built in 1957 by the Canadian company Seagram.
Until the end of the century, the plant remained under the management of Chivas Bros., then a subsidiary of Seagram, and until 1999 it distilled for the group's blends, mainly 100 Pipers and Passport. Pernod Ricard took over Seagram's Scottish assets in 2001, but Glen Keith had to wait another 12 years to resume production. The distillery started in 2013 with a potential increased to 6 million liters of distillate per year. Glen Keith Distillery Edition debuted in 2017 and has become a permanent part of the basic offer. We cannot say whether it uses only whisky distilled after 2013 or a few barrels from before 1999.
