Balvenie Caribbean Cask Single Malt Scotch whisky is matured in traditional oak casks for 14 years before being finished in Caribbean rum casks. To create the perfect finish, Malt Master David Stewart, fills American oak barrels with a hand-picked blend of rums. When he judges that the casks are ready, the place of rum is replaced by 14 year old Balvenie whisky to take the aromatic flavor notes from it. The result is a unique whisky with the character of the traditional, delicate and honeyed The Balvenie, combined with notes of toffee and a touch of fruit.
