A classic single malt from the Speyside region, it was matured slowly in selected American oak casks, resulting in a quality beverage that is complex, deep and yet easy to drink. Characteristic aromas include: toffee notes and citrus richness. Three classic onion-shaped alembics. Matured in a mixed combination - in American oak bourbon and sherry barrels.
Aroma
malty and fruity, pears, apples, orange jam, fresh gingerbread, vanilla, toffee, milk chocolate, traces of lemongrass and pine needles.
TASTE
mild with delicate hints of sherry, apricots, apples, vanilla, milk fudge, cookies, hints of pepper and ginger and a slight bitterness of oak.
FINISH
medium-long, with notes of vanilla, roasted nuts, candied ginger, oak and dried fruit.
