Bottle No. 3530, 3769
Glendullan, founded in 1897, is the last distillery to be built in Dufftown in the 19th Century. Currently it is owned by Diageo and produces roughly 5 million liters of spirit per annum.
Glendullan is a backbone of Old Parr blended whisky and one of the main components of Johnnie Walker Red and Buchanan’s 12 years old. The 23 years old expression, part of the prestigious Rare Malt Selection, contains whisky distilled in 1974, two years after the new distillery was built and distillation was carried in two stillhouses. The whisky was bottled at natural strength of 63.1% abv in 1998 and is now extremely hard to find.
