A blended whisky made at the Chugoku Jozo distillery, situated in the mountains near the city of Hiroshima. It is composed from malt and grain spirits imported from Scotland and Canada. New make spirit is brought over to the distillery, where it is put into casks and the whole maturation takes place on the Japanese plant’s premises. After 18 years, the whisky acquires rich flavours with Scottish and Canadian overtones and a Japanese spirit.
