Extremely limited single cask bottling from the reputable independent bottler Douglas Laing & Co, part of the most impressive Old & Rare Platinum Selection. The whisky distilled in December 1989 spent 20 years in ex-sherry hogshead. Bottled in September 2010 at natural strength of 56.1% abv and unchill-filtered with an outrun of 221 bottles. Douglas Laing & Co. used to be run by two Laing brothers, Fred and Stewart. After almost 40 years the brothers parted their ways and split the company assets.
