Springbank Distillery sits in the middle of Campbeltown, the once proclaimed ‘whisky capital of the world’. The distillery has been producing whisky since 1828 and is still owned by members of the founding family. Springbank produces the most handmade Scotch whisky, with 100% of the process being carried out on site. The product range changes frequently, it contains three different single malts bottled with and without age statement, various wood finishes and occasionally vintage expressions. Springbank 2001 Vintage comprises whisky aged in small casks (50 and 100 liters) and bottled in 2009 at natural strength of 53.3% abv. Only 6000 bottles were produced.
