In 1998 Royal Brackla Distillery along with the Dewar’s brand was acquired by John Dewar & Sons, a subsidiary of Bacardi. The new owners focused on the Dewar’s range and for several years Royal Brackla single malt was available through independent bottlers. The 10 years old official bottling was launched in 2004 with limited availability (the majority of Brackla malt was “consumed” by Dewar’s blends). It is a well-crafted dram, good for any occasion. Royal Brackla produces 4 million liters of spirit per annum, what makes it the biggest distillery in Bacardi portfolio.
