The original Tullibardine Distillery operated from 1798 to 1837 but its exact site is unknown. Today’s Tullibardine was built in 1949 in Blackford, Perthshire on site of a brewery. The ownership of distillery changed several times, last time in 2011 with the acquisition of the French Company Picard Vins & Spiritueux. In a short period of time the French significantly expanded the product range. Tullibardine 1993 Vintage was introduced in 2003 and remained part of the core range until 2011.
